works were being done in the hotel and i was not informed so the room was without central heating even though i was given a portable heater which did not satisfy my needs also had poor heated water in the bathroom. Mind you I am a regular customer at this hotel and I was always satisfied ok and the receptionist was very helpful but still I expected some compasation,
My stay was very enjoyable, the sea view was excellent, couldn't have been better. I thought the room service for breakfast was very affordable and a big bonus for me staying alone.
I really think for a 4 star You should also offer coffee and tea making facilities in the room and also a pen or pencil would have been handy.
A very good hotel with friendly staff. Also an excellent location with easy access to public transport which was cheap. A good base to travel from and visit other sites on the island. Overall, we were very happy at St.Patrick's Hotel.
Room was nice and cosy. I liked the view from our room. Breakfast was good.
Bathroom - I think their should be an improvement in the bathroom facilities. Water was not that hot. Bath Tubs are old and should be changed.
The room was clean and central heated. The male waiter at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Set menu on Friday was very good.
The room was smaller than the one we stayed in last year, even though we paid more since it was a valley view room. The courtyard view room had more space. Only cold breakfast is served, warm breakfast needs to be ordered. The waitress wasn't very glad that we called to have breakfast in bed; she insisted that they are busy, that we should have filled the form before, that we have to wait, etc.
I liked the peace and quiet within the Hotel, and the kind of rustic look passing through the court yard.
I didn't like that we couldn't get a drink after 9pm because the bar was closed, for us to get a few drinks we had to be in the bar a couple of hours early. Not much to do either.
The Hotel is nicely designed, very cozy. The staff is very frendly. The room was very nice and big. With a beautiful sea view. The breakfast was alright (not the coffee though). Overall We would love to come back exactly that hotel, but not the same room.
Our bathroom was horible with black mould all over the edge. We did ask to clean the bathroom, but the mould wasn't washed off. Room 104.
We have known the hotel for about 50 years so it is always a memory trip. The staff were excellent and the location superb
Unfortunately the hot water system was not working. However, the management did act positively with compensation but this was only after check out.
Everything was comfortable, plain but comfortable. Very friendly staff and attentive dining room waiter. We will certainly recommend your very pretty hotel - especially the inner lobby very pretty design - and come again soon.
We stayed Sat. to Tuesday and no cleaning on Monday!?
There is nothing better than to wake up to the sound of waves crushing onto the shore line after a very busy working week. St. Patricks offeres that kind of serenity and peace that helps you relax. A little stroll down to the pier beats everything...
The position is very good on the bay and the roof terrace was very nice.
The foyer had a big plantation area which had no plants in it and it either needed some new plants or even some decoration just to fill it and make it look nice and welcoming in that area. Also the shower unit in the bathroom on the roof terrace had no shower head in it so it was unusable which was very inconvenient as one wanted a shower before we departed on our journey there was a general shower by the plunge pool but there was no privacy to change etc. The bed rooms that look out over the courtyard should have their windows/doors double glazed as the noise from kitchen staff at 6am is unbearable and wakes you up every morning.
I liked the really comfortable room, the quietness of the area. Gozo is a really quiet place, and we travel to Gozo only for a relaxing holiday from the hassle of work.
Location. Maybe you could leave a leaflet in the room literature for comments.
Curtains in room hard to close or open also they were tattered and needed changing. Maybe blinds would be more appropriate or if not pull string curtains with blackout lining would have been better.
I was really impressed as soon as i entered the hotel, the receptionist was helpful and afficient. When we entered the room we were hit by the heat of the room, which was much need from the weather outside The bed was very comfortableand the room clean. We stayed on a B & B basis and the breakfast selection was varied and plentiful,a great way to set us up for the day Checking out was easy and payment clear and quick. The mini bar prices were very reasonable
The only thing i would put as a negative was that the water for bath/shower had to be run for a long time before it got hot
Great location good value for money
Booked.net website showed an original price crossed out and then a cheaper price against it. When we arrived the price we paid was the normal rate and was not reduced.
